Please check your model number before ordering — this set is compatible with PS5 Disc Edition model CFI-1016A only. It is not compatible with any other PS5 revision, including CFI-1116A, CFI-1216A, any Digital Edition model, the PS5 Slim, or the PS5 Pro. The internal chassis housing differs between PS5 revisions and parts are not interchangeable between models. Your PS5 model number can be found on the label on the base of the console.

Replacement of the internal mid frame chassis housing requires full disassembly of the PlayStation 5, including removal of the outer panels, all internal components, motherboard, power supply, heatsink, and optical drive. This is a full strip-down repair and is best suited to those with significant PS5 disassembly experience. All internal components must be carefully transferred from the original chassis into the replacement housing, ensuring all connectors, cables, and mounting points are correctly seated before reassembly.
