If your PlayStation 5 Digital Edition has an unresponsive power button, or a button that registers intermittently or requires excessive pressure to activate, the front button PCB board might fix the issue. This small board sits directly behind the front panel of the console and houses the power button, with a cable flex carrying its signal back to the motherboard. As the Digital Edition has no disc drive, this board features the power button only — there is no eject button on this variant. Physical wear, liquid ingress, or impact damage can all cause this board to fail, leaving you unable to power the console on or off via the front panel button.

It is not compatible with any other PS5 model, including any Disk Edition console or later Digital Edition revisions. Your PS5 model number can be found on the label on the base of the console.
